He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmit C. Patterson, Sr. and Thelma May Patterson; his siblings, Mason N. Patterson, Maestella Blaney, Linda S. Taylor and Debra Kay Patterson; and his grandparents, William E. and Katie Terrell.
He is survived by: his wife Claudette; his children, Anthony, Leigh Anne' (Michael) and Robert; his grandchildren, Shay, Ebony, Michaela, Josh, Carson, Lincoln and Tre; and his brothers, Emmit Patterson (Bonita) of West Virginia, James E. Patterson (Stella) of West Virginia, Donald Ray Patterson (Ginger) of West Virginia and Larry Patterson of West Virginia. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
