We are sad to announce that on June 23, 2025, at the age of 83, Warren Ray Cornell of Dunbar, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Leonard and Lydia Ann Cornell (Siders); and his siblings, Charles, Edward "Bob", Danny (Tommy Paul Cornell), Phylis Jean Friend, Lydia Ann Arthur and Ada Rose Chandler.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Eloise Cornell (Green) of Dunbar; his daughters, Beth Ann Nunley (Cornell) of Scott Depot, WV and Lisa (Brian Pitchford); his grandchildren, Kevin Ray Cornell of Scott Depot, Cydney Justice, Connor Pitchford (Sadie), Madeline Pitchford, Ian Pitchford, Samantha Nunley and Hannah Nunley; his great grandchildren, Sophia and Lucas; his siblings, Leonard (Vivian Cornell), Jerry (Debbie Cornell), Mike (Nancy Cornell) and Betty Lou Drew of Cleveland, OH; and his pets, Bubby, Bella and Shawn.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dunbar Church of Christ (309 15th St, Dunbar, WV 25064). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
