He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Ikle and Gladys Curry Whitten; his sister Sue Sizemore; his niece Lisa Boreren; his children, Berry Whitten and Sonya Flegal; and his brother Maywood Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Whitten; his children, Bret Snyder (Cathy), Denise Wenk and Rachel Day (David); his stepson Anthony Baldwin (Jamie); his grandchildren, Bret Lee Snyder, Jacob Snyder, Charie Snyder, Michael Wenk, Abbey Sabo (Sean), Alex Flegal, Sarah Flegal and Nicole Whitten; his stepgranddaughters, Toni Baldwin (TJ) and Shayla Baldwin; his great grandchildren, Penelope Snyder, Tyler Wenk and Elizabeth Wenk; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Kayle Bickford.
