He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Elkins and Nina Elkins. He is survived by: his children, Terra Looney of Dunbar and Chris Elkins (Michelle) of Charleston; his former wife Heather Elkins of Dunbar; his adoptive parent Sabine Dent of North Carolina; his friend Doris Brown of Charleston; his siblings, David Elkins (Susie) of Belle, Jeff Elkins (Laurie) of Nitro and Beth Drake (Dale) of Virginia; and his grandchildren, Taylor Kuhn, Lucas, Hunter Looney, Tasker Beard, William, Tyler, Memphis, Finley Elkins, Kayleigh and Madelyn Kirk.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stevens & Grass Funeral Home (4203 Salines Dr, Malden, WV 25306). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
