He was predeceased by: his parents, James Howard Adkins and Juanita Blevins Adkins; and his brother Travis Ray Adkins. He is survived by: his siblings, James (Jenny) of Cool Ridge, David Adkins of Josephine, Roger (Sharon) of East Gulf, Debbie Dean (Dana) of Beckley, Susie England (Darrell) of Coal CIty and Donna Mills (Jeffrey); and his pet Rick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
