He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenny Eaves and Angelina Eaves; his siblings, Lettie Eaves, Spicie Eaves, Thelma Sizemore, Vanie Farley, Orville Eaves, Leslie Eaves, Edward "Elbo" Eaves and Robert Eaves; and his granddaughter Zoey Eaves.
He is survived by: his wife Marsha Adkins Eaves; his daughter Ida Marie Eaves (W. Va) of Huntington; his stepchildren, Alisha Adkins of East Lynn and Johnny Adkins (Crystal) of Polk City, Fla.; his grandchildren, Noah Ferguson, Jess Ferguson, Jacob Adkins, Clarisa Adkins, Jayson Adkins and Camron Eaves; and his brother Stanton Eaves (Joyce) of East Lynn.
