She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Wesley Sayre and Rushie Dane Bailey Sayre; her husband Opie E. Scott; her siblings, Fiona Sally May, Margaret Harrison, Christine Hartung, Annetta Honaker, Raymond, Roy and Ronald Sayre; and her niece Teresa Honaker.

She is survived by : her daughter Monteia Childers (Parrish); and her grandchildren, Sophie Dane Childers and Cameron Scott Childers.
