James Nathan left this world on November 3, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orvie Reed and Mary Reed; his wife Peggy; and his sisters, Juanita Lewis, Velma Kiser and Phyllis Fleaharty.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Reed (Kelly Karnes) and Bonnie Evans (G. J.); his grandchildren, Brandi Bayless, James Bayless (Amber) and Kacie Gryder (Trent); his great grandchildren, Joshua, Delainy, Morgan, Reid, Hayes and Barrett; and his brother Jack Reed.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home (12848 Winfield Rd, Winfield, WV 25213). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
