She was predeceased by: her parents, Garnett D. Hedrick and Lena Margaret Lambert Hedrick; her spouse Sylvanus Paul Vandevender; her siblings, Raymond, Virgil, Luther, Paul, Sheldon, Galen Hedrick and Gladys Hedrick Raines; and her son-in-law Alan E. Phillips.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Sue Siler (Joe) of Parsons, WV and Brenda Lynn Phillips of Elkins. She is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Elkins Church of the Brethren, 708 West Central St., Elkins, WV 26241 in memory of Mrs. Vandevender.
