He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Hamrick and Roena B. McGlone Hamrick; his siblings, Truman and Rosie; his nephew Brian; his niece Crystal; his great-niece Victoria; and his sister-in-law Debbie.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Bonnie Coberly; his children, Bobby Joe, Jr. (Renee) of Elkins, Frank (Sallie) of Norton and Becky (Robert) of Elkins; his grandchildren, Brendon, Kerri (Nick), Patience (Cameron), D. J., Kelsie, Eddie (Dylan), Nathan, Jacob (Cassie), Amanda, Robbie and Megan; his great grandchildren, Katelin, Aiden, Payton, Robert, Emma, Lincoln, Jackson, Bentley and Brayden; his siblings, Homer (Ann), David (Christine), Wilma and Velma (Merle); and his sister-in-law Nancy.
