She was predeceased by: her grandfather Dale Gene Wilfong; and her uncle Aaron "A. J.". She is survived by: her parents, Wendy M. Wilfong Collins and Jeremy Hamrick of Elkins; her grandparents, Deborah Wilfong of Elkins, Velair and Kathy Collins of Elkins; her son Cyrus Jaxson Collins of Elkins; her siblings, Gage Anthony Huffman of Elkins, Velair Collins, III of Denver, CO. and Hailey H. Collins (Caitlin Skeens); and her cousin Noah Michael Vandevander. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Randolph County Humane Society, P. O. Box 785, Elkins, WV 26241 in memory of Cassie.

“I’m so sorry to hear all this... I met Cass while she was this cute little pregnant girl with her baby boy inside her going to school at D&E. She was hilarious and so genuine and I loved that girl. I am so glad she was my friend... I know everyone will say they wish they could do more, but it’s never been so accurate for me... I live across the country now, but I still feel for her and the pain that’s now left after her. Please take care... and love that little boy of hers as much as she did.”
