He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Mage Phares and Elizabeth "Libby" Mary Chester Phares; and his siblings, Michael Phares and Deb Smith. He is survived by: his children, Charles "Frank" Phares (Emily) of Boston, MA and Kathleen Phares of Elkins; his sisters, Jeannie Phares, Annette Weiford (Blake) and Rose Marie Slattery; and his grandsons, Cody Anderson, Jr. and Charles Anderson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
