It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cranston J. Sponaugle (Elkins, West Virginia), born in Circleville, West Virginia, who passed away on December 13, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Sponaugle and Mary D. Vandevander Sponaugle; and his siblings, Beed, Conda, Paul, Adam, Issac Sponaugle, Ona Warner, Tena Bennett, Nola Mueller and Vera Phalen.

He is survived by: his spouse Jessie Elizabeth Warner Sponaugle; his sons, Dannie Sponaugle (Susan Mellon), William J. "Butch" Sponaugle (Connie) and Lonnie L. Sponaugle (Evadale); and his sisters, Anna Jo Hartman of Maryland and Mary Lou Lambert of Maryland. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Vision Worship Center Building Fund, 1612 Lavallette Ave., Elkins, WV 26241 in memory of Mr. Sponaugle.
