He was predeceased by: his parents, Fuller Reckart and Merle Summers Reckart; and his siblings, Willard "Bud" Reckart, Robert "Bob" Reckart, Virginia Roy, Hazel Noyes, Opal Roy, Edna Shaffer and Kayron Reckart.
He is survived by: his wife Sharron Ilene Arbogast; his children, Todd E. Reckart (Patti) of Elkins and Regina "Susie" Reckart-Martin (Todd); his siblings, Delmas Dale Reckart (Donna) of Elkins, Alberta Jean Sonnemann of Sykesville, MD and Florence "Sis"; his friends, Gloria "Peach" Foy of Chester, VA, JoAnne "Tudy" Reckart of Elkins and Nancy Bennett (Rick) of Harrisonburg, VA.; and his grandchildren, Chase of Elkins, Macy Reckart of Elkins, Hallie of Elkins and Tessa Martin of Elkins.
