He was predeceased by: his parents, David James "Jim" Currence and Helen "Jean" Currence. He is survived by: his sister Donna Canfield (Lee) of Elkins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Tomblyn Funeral Home (45 Randolph Ave, Elkins, WV 26241). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Randolph County Humane Society, P. O. Box 785, Elkins, WV 26241 in memory of Dr. Currence.
