It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Derek Christopher Arbogast (Elkins, West Virginia), who passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Adam and Karen June Arbogast (Messer). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Tallman; his siblings, Angela Anderson (Chuck), Brian Arbogast (Andrea), Justin Arbogast (Amy) and Zachary Arbogast; and his grandchildren, Quinn Arbogast, Norah Shaffer and Hudson Arbogast.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tomblyn Funeral Home (45 Randolph Ave, Elkins, WV 26241). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Shining Light Christian Academy, 412 Randolph Avenue, Elkins, WV 26241 in memory of Derek.
