He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Chenoweth and Grace Weese Chenoweth Stalnaker; his stepfather Glenn P. "Pudge" Stalnaker; and his siblings, Viola Higgins, Ida Ruth Swecker and Ronald Chenoweth (John R. Chenoweth).
He is survived by: his wife Lenore Eileen Riggleman Chenoweth; his children, James Chenoweth (Stephanie), Karen Schoonover (Ronald) and Shirley Daniels (Danny); his grandsons, Ronald Schoonover, III (Kristen) and Joseph Daniels; and his siblings, Brenda West of Helenwood, TN, Estelle Goldizen (Tillie) of Dailey, Linda White of Canton, OH, Gary Chenoweth of Charleston and Bobby Allen Chenoweth of Junior. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
