We announce the death of Donna Kent of Elkins, West Virginia, who passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 99. Donna will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross W. Mortimer and Harriet Walters Mortimer; her husband Joe; and her sisters, Virginia Kelly (Ted) of Franklin and Eleanor Mortimer of Rimersburg.

She is survived by: her former husband Joseph Kent Jr.; her daughter Eleanor "Jean" Anderson (Roger) of Elkins, WV.; her grandchildren, Amanda Anderson Carter and Kent Anderson (Hope); her great grandchildren, Cadence, Kennedy, Cohen Carter, Lily and Kinley Anderson; her daughter Donna; her friends, Margaret and Beth; Huey, Bill, Ralph Grace, Beatrice, Ruth, Dorcas and Delores. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
