He was predeceased by: his mother Katherine Jones Calain; and his son David Calain. He is survived by: his daughter Kim Bonnett (Brian); his grandchildren, Connor and Declan Bonnett; and the mother of his children Jacki Calain-Plum.
The family has requested that contributions be made in Ed's memory to the Back Pack Program at First United Methodist Church, 315 Kerens Avenue, Elkins, WV 26241.
