He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Calain and Sallie Kimble Calain; his former wife Leona Gregory; and his wife Betty Jean Sheets. He is survived by: his sibling's children, Brasil W. Hamrick, Jr. of Mt. Sidney, VA and Mary Lou Ray of Lawrenceburg, KY..
