With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Philmore Sacks of Elkins, West Virginia, born in Valley Bend, West Virginia, who passed away on July 16, 2020 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Philmore Franklin and Ethel Mae Glover Sacks; and his siblings, John, Roger, David, Neal, Robert Sacks, Emily and Phyllis.

He is survived by: his wife Patsy Ellen Burner; his sons, Kevin Dales Sacks (Robin Wamsley) of Dailey and Bradley James Sacks (Shell Weese) of Mill Creek; his siblings, Bruce Sacks of Dailey and Rose Bonsal; his grandson Justin William Sacks of Glady; and his great grandchild Lane.
