As Jim departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jim. Though Jim may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jo Ann Gum Phares and James L. Phares. He is survived by: his wife Sara Gibson Phares; his children, Beth Austin Phares, James "Jay" Joseph Phares and Tyler Milford Phares (Brooklyn Sapp Phares); his grandsons, Justin James Scoll, James Owen Phares and Reid Thomas Phares; and his siblings, Ruth Paige Shaw (Donnie) of Philippi and Ed Phares (Bobbi) of Elkins.
