He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wallace Gumm and Ruby Gordon Weaver Gumm; and his siblings, Infant James Dale Gumm, Thomas Michael Gumm, Kenneth Jarred Gumm, David Wallace Gumm and Marie Gumm Jenkins.
He is survived by: his daughter Deborah Ruth Stevens (Brian) of Parsons, WV; his granddaughter Leslie Delaine "Dee" Stevens; his siblings, Philip Wayne Gumm (Judy) of Waynesboro, VA, Steven Daniel Gumm (Debbie) of London, OH, John Stanley Gumm (Susan) of Westfield Center, OH and Joyce Ann Borror Burgess of North Ridgeville, OH; and his sister-in-law Erma Gumm (Cindy Harsh) of Grafton, OH.
