He is survived by: his mother Pauline Atladine Cogar Barrett; his children, Misty Adkison (Cole George) of Middlebourne, Jesse Varner of Clarksburg and Melanie Varner of Fairmont; his grandchildren, Axel George, Kyra Varner and Natalie Varner; his sister Leslie McCollam of Elkins; and his sibling's children, Kasey Bennett of Mill Creek, Crystal Conrad of Elkins and Ben Phillips of Elkins.
