With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Bennett of Elkins, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 19, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey E. Wilmoth and Ada Elbon Wilmoth of Elkins; her husband Calvin Keith Bennett; her son Gary Michael Bennett; and her brothers, Carl, Harry and Ira Wilmoth.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jeff Basile (Erin) of Morgantown, Frank Basile of Mt. Morris, PA, Krysta Bennett Whipple (Ben) of Tallahassee, FL, David, Ashley, Stephanie Bennett of Morgantown, Ryan Walsh of Nashville, TN and Lauren Walsh (Ben Rankin) of Chattanooga, TN.; and her great grandchildren, Linden Bennett, Flynn, Calvin, Griffin, Rosemary Basile of Morgantown, Drake, Katelyn Whipple of Tallahassee, FL and Bodhi Walsh-Rankin of Chattanooga, TN..
The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 315 Kerens Ave., Elkins, WV 26241 in memory of Margaret.
