He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Edward Boyd Jr. and Rodana Cecil Boyd; and his siblings, David, Randall and Bernice Boyd.

He is survived by: his siblings, Darlene Watson (Dave) of Elkins, Lawrence Boyd (Chrissy) of Beverly and Marsha Lawrence of Michigan; and his siblings' children, Landon, Madison, Josh, Brittany Boyd, Melissa Ross-McBee, Nanah, Justin, Beau Roberts, Elizabeth Smith, Angela Burgoyne, Chelsea, Shane Channell, David and Melissa Watson.
