He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Postlethwait (Brianne Janiszewski) of Wheeling, WV and Nicholas Postlethwait (Paige Ball) of Dailey, WV; his stepchildren, Jennifer Daniels of Morgantown, WV and John Daniels III (Jack) of Fairmont, WV.; his grandchildren, Ellie Postlethwait of Dailey, WV., Aurora Postlethwait of Dailey, WV. and Damon Postlethwait of Dailey, WV.; his siblings, Austin Postlethwait (Marlene) of Moundsville, WV, Nancy Neely of Cameron, WV, Shirley Postlethwait of Pittsburgh, PA and Marilyn Hendershot of New Martinsville, WV; his close friend Tom Ditty; and his pets, Ginger and Arwen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
