He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Joseph Elza and Mary Ethel Gordon Elza; his son Christopher Lynn Sanders; his grandchildren, Justin Elza and Kassi Elza; his brother Norman Elza; and his brothers-in-law, Ronald Arbogast and Alan Crossland.
He is survived by : his wife Sandra; his children, Michael Carl Elza (Tonya), Kevin Max Elza (Tammie), Lee W. Sanders (Becky) and Theresa L. Ends (Paul); his siblings, Douglas Elza (Linda), Jeff Elza (Tammy), Phyllis Moore, Winifred Coon, Sharon Crossland and Nancy Arbogast; his grandchildren, Adam Elza, Michael C. Elza, II, Elizabeth Roberts, Christopher Elza, Kari Simmons, Casey Leann Sanders, Alexa Sanders and Ryan Sanders; his great grandchildren, Dominic, Sofia, Aleigh, Raiden, Colson, Austin, Brian, Ciarra, Ava, Eli and Onyx; and his close friends, Becky Hammer and Dan Tice.
