He was predeceased by: his parents, Fuller Reckart and Mearl Summers Reckart; and his siblings, Willard "Bud" Reckart, Virginia Roy, Hazel Noyes, Opal Roy, Edna Shaffer and Kayron Reckart.
He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Jordan; his children, Robert L. "Robbie" Reckart, Jr. (Gina) of Beverly and Annette Reckart Lowder of Sanford, NC.; his siblings, Darrell Reckart (Sharron) of Elkins, Delmas Dale Reckart (Donna) of Elkins, Alberta Jean Sonnemann of Sykesville, MD and Florence; his friends, Gloria Foy of Chester, VA, JoAnne Reckart of Elkins and Nancy Bennett (Rick) of Harrisonburg, VA.; his grandsons, Sonny Reckart Schuler (Houston) of Elkins and Dylan Reckart of Beverly; and his great grandchild Birdy Faye Schuler.
