She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Hamrick and Roena Hamrick; and her husband Allan Gibson. She is survived by: her children, Allan Gibson (Beth), Steven Gibson (Marianne), Cheryl Powell and Dixie Hisley; her grandchildren, Allan Gibson, Jason, Adam Hisley, Grant, Devin Powell, Rose Mary Powell and Deanna Robshaw; and her siblings, Homer Lee, Truman, Bobby, David Hamrick, Wilma Leary and Velma Martin. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
At Rosie's request her remains were donated to the Human Gift Registry at West Virginia University.
