He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell D. Himes, Sr. and Evelyn Miller Himes. He is survived by: his wife Helen Humphreys; his sons, Stephen D. Himes (Nykeea) of Elkins and Kenneth R. Himes (Melody) of Elkins; and his grandchildren, Madison, Noah Shears, Ally Simon and Rachel Himes.
