He is survived by: his children, Sam Nelson (Barbara) of Valparaiso, FL, Blaine Nelson (Kelley) of Berryville, VA and Lee Ann Nelson of Elkins. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
