He is survived by: his daughter Nicole Rowan of Elkins; his stepchildren, Hope Anderson (Kent) of Elkins, Jacob D'Angelo (Allison) of Elkins and Adam D'Angelo of Elkins; his grandchildren, Caden, Logan, Savannah Rowan, Lilyana, Kinley Anderson, Lauren, Lucas D'Angelo, Brooklyn, Andrew and Aubrey D'Angelo; his siblings, Guy Hammer, Jr. (Jean) of Bethesda, MD, Robert Hammer (Cindy) of Elkins, Robin Hammer of Elkins, Mark Hammer (Mary Ann) of Morgantown, WV., Sharon Hammer Helms (John Sarraga) of Elkins and Dena Hammer Lang (Scott) of State College, PA; and his siblings' children, Guy Hammer, III of Harpers Ferry, WV, Thomas Hammer of Baltimore, MD, Jennifer White of Bethesda, MD, Christina Helms McIntyre of Oak Hill, VA, Tracie Helms Hanson of Charles Town, WV, Nashua Hammer of Elkins, Brooke Hammer of New York, NY, Megan Lang of Frankfort, KY, Morgan Lang, Mitchell Lang of State College, PA, Matthew Lang of Denver, CO and Evan Hammer of Morgantown, WV..
