She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank May and Mae Houk May; and her siblings, Frank May Jr. and Peg McMullen. She is survived by: her children, Clair Carowick, Jr. (Cindy) of Elkins, Mark Carowick (Toni) of Mt. Union, PA, Gary Carowick of Kerns and Hollie Pritt (Derrick) of Montrose; her grandchildren, Joseph Carowick, Katie Carowick, Zachary Carowick, Heather Carowick, Ben Carowick, Jacob Pritt (Braley) and Brooke Pritt; and her brother Phil May of Mill Creek, PA.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (315 Kerens Ave, Elkins, WV 26241).
