She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Bennett Collett and Mary Allene Collett; and her sister Carolyn Marie Jones. She is survived by: her daughter Lara Dawn Bista of Harrisburg, NC; her sister Judith Allene "Judy" Hake (Robin) of Latrobe, PA; her grandchildren, Neil Bista and Christian Rogers; and her nieces, Lisa and Linda. She is also survived by nine great nieces and nephews.

“I worked for the Scott's during high school doing yard work. Mr. & Mrs. Scott was such a pleasure to work for and would always be so pleasant and caring. I ended up running into Virginia a couple years later and she had explain that Pat passed away. It was heart breaking to see how emotionally upset she was. May she be at peace and my condolences to her family.”
