He is survived by: his children, Thomas Robert Schoonover (Kristin) of Asheville, NC, William Ronald Schoonover, Jr. (Nita) of Belington and Amy Lynn Murphy (Isaac) of Columbus, OH; his stepchildren, Larry Wayne Mayfield (Lisa) of Silver Springs, FL, Greggory Howard Mayfield of Beverly, Chad Wythe Mayfield (Kristie) of Bruceton Mills and Melody Adrienne Mayfield Frymoyer (Jeff) of Altamonte Springs, FL; his siblings, James L. Schoonover of Montrose and Mary E. Durham of Montrose; and his stepgrandchildren, Tessa Louise, Samuel Schoonover, Connor, Zachary Mayfield, Chase, Cody Byerly, Tanner Elizabeth, Jesse Rose Mayfield, Gabriel, Landon and Chandler Murphy.
