He is survived by : his daughter Tiffany Hively; his son-in-law Barry Quigley of Elkview; his grandchildren, Lucas of Elkview and Lexi Quigley of Elkview; his parents, Melvin Shafer and Claudette June Martin; his brother Clarence Shafer; his sister-in-law Patti (Mickey Shafer) of Sissonville; and his sisters, Penny Shafer and Lisa Blackshire.
