She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Yates, Sr.; her son Clarence "Bob" Yates, Jr.; and her parents, Howard Crouch and Ethel Crouch. She is survived by: her children, Diana Bounds (Samuel) of Elkview and Jeff Yates (Kathy) of Elkview; and her siblings, Melvin Crouch of Elkview and Patricia Ledsome of Pamona Park, FL.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the River Church (636 Quick Rd, Elkview, WV 25071). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
