It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Marie Blackshire (Elkview, West Virginia), who passed away on September 14, 2025, at the age of 5, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Emma has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She was predeceased by: her grandfather Randy Blackshire. She is survived by: her parents, Joshua Blackshire and Jessica Blackshire; her brother Jayden Blackshire; and her grandmothers, Regina Blackshire and Rosemary Welker (Johnny Cobb). She is also survived by several loving aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hafer Funeral Home (50 N Pinch Rd, Elkview, WV 25071).
