With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geneva Chapman of Elkview, West Virginia, born in Matewan, West Virginia, who passed away on October 19, 2021 at the age of 99. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Geneva Chapman to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Stafford and Bertha Stafford; her husband Rev. W. F. Chapman (Fleetwood); her children, Freda Hall, George Chapman Sr., Fleetwood Chapman and Bobby Chapman; her granddaughter Karrie Murfin (Hall); and her sisters, Goldie, Ann, Ella, Lois and Estalene.

She is survived by: her son Hugh V. Chapman (Mary Angela) of Bartlett, IL.. She is also survived by ten grandsons, five granddaughters, and many great grandchildren.

The family request everyone make donations to a charity of your choice.
