He was predeceased by: his son Matthew Smith; and his parents, Huston Clinton Smith, Sr. and Wanda Smith. He is survived by: his wife Susan Smith; his sons, Huston Smith III, Mark Smith, Scott Smith and Chris Smith; and his siblings, Joe Smith, Greg Smith, Kevin Smith, Jerry Smith and Shella Kay. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hafer Funeral Home (50 N Pinch Rd, Elkview, WV 25071). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
