He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Magan and Elizabeth M. Magan (Brandt); and his siblings, Arlene Kelley (Magan) and William G. "Bill" Magan. He is survived by: his friend Talal Homsi; his significant other Benita Whitman; his children, Anita Magan (Keith Paxton), Tobias "Toby" Magan (Andrea) and Hilary Magan; the mother of his children Doris Magan (Albany); his sister-in-law Gail Magan (Roberts); his brothers, Robert "Bob" Magan (Carolyn) and George Magan (Ginny); his grandchildren, Fabia Haner (Josiah) and Nora Heil (John Smookler); and his great grandchild Kalea Heil. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Room 107, West Virginia State University (100 Barron Dr, Dunbar, WV 25064).
