He was predeceased by: his parents, Drexel Milam and Georgia Milam (Walker); his wife Sherry Milam (Bowers); his siblings-in-law, Henry Jr. and Lois Bowers (Williamson); and his pet Presley.
He is survived by: his children, Amanda Mullins (Milam), Zach Shirkey of Charleston, Johnny D Milam of Pigeon and Denver Milam (Santana) of Franklin, VA; his stepchild Chantelle Halley (Larry) of Camden, SC; his grandchildren, Stacy Runyon, Shelly Collins, Christopher Maynard, Courtney, Matthew Mullins, Joshua Hill, Brooklyn, Nathan Milam, Abigail, Gabriella and Ezekiel Shirkey; his great grandchildren, Blake, Keira Bowen, Reese, Sophia Collins, Cash Miller, Callie Agee and Josie Runyon; his sisters, Rita Milam and Marsha Collins (Charles) of Davin, WV; and his daughter April Milam Woods (James) of Elkview, WV.
