It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kevin Brent McCoy (Elkview, West Virginia), born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Kevin shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Kevin farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Murray McCoy and Betty McCoy; and his siblings, Connie Atkins, Gary Hanson, Larry Hanson and Shayne McCoy.
He is survived by: his wife Maricko; his daughter Yori; his granddaughters, Carrie Fontalbert and Beth McCoy; his son Jonathan McCoy; and his brother Patrick McCoy. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hafer Funeral Home (50 N Pinch Rd, Elkview, WV 25071). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
