He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly Lucas; his parents, Charles O. Lucas and Stachia Louise Lucas; his grandparents, Charles B. Lucas, Virgie Lucas, Lewis V. "Grandpap" Pauley, Martha D. and Pauley; and his parents-in-law, Ben F. Hoover and Marie Hoover.
He is survived by: his sons, Chuck Lucas, Jamie Lucas and PJ Lucas; and his brother John Lucas. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
