Richard Allan Skidmore Obituary

Richard Allan Skidmore, 59, of Elkview passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at CAMC General Division, Charleston.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard J. Skidmore.

He was a laborer for Big Chimney Auto Diesel, Elkview. He also attended Zion Methodist Church, friendly and also a US Marine Veteran.

Richard loved people and staying busy.

He is survived by his best friend and love of his life, Brenda Kemp of Elkview; daughter, Sara Beth Bowden of Duncanville, AL.; mother, Wilma Cunningham of Friendly; sister, Sue Todd of Friendly; brothers, Perry Skidmore of Friendly and Joe Skidmore of Elkview; one granddaughter. Also he was survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Richard's life will be at a later date.
