He was predeceased by: his parents, Oral Otha Paxton and Elva Naomi Schoolcraft Paxton; his wife Joyce Faye Paxton; and his siblings, Larry, Clifford, Clifton, Garland, Emory, Garnet, Naomi and Helen.
He is survived by: his children, Tina McCann (Mike) and Roger Paxton II; his stepsons, David Deusenberry (Karen) and Scott Deusenberry (Crystal); and his brother Michael Paxton. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
