It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilfred Lothes of Ellamore, West Virginia, born in Elkins, West Virginia, who passed away on August 2, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, DeSales Lothes and Wilfred J. Lothes; and his son Stephen J. Lothes. He is survived by: his siblings, Major John E. Lothes (Wilga) of Elkins, Mary Cecelia "CeCe" Cacase of Elkins, Margaret "Sunny" Austin of Elkins and Julia E. Corder (Bill) of Junior, WV.; his spouse Gail Swick; and his children, Yvonne Marson (Harry), Brian Lothes (Rita), Maria Hall (Ron) and Minta Lothes-Kosanic (late Bill Kosanic).
