He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas and Ida Jean Summers (Doll); and his sister Pamela Summers. He is survived by: his children, Amanda Lanham (Doug) of Ellenboro, WV, John Summers (Leslie) of Doddridge County, WV, Andrew Summers (Stefani) of Morgantown, WV and Jessica Summers of Atco, NJ; his grandchildren, Vanessa Rollins, Alex Rollins, Austin Ash, Lacey Summers and Ivalene Summers; his great grandchildren, Liam, Layne and Aili; and his brother Tom Summers (Pam) of Pennsboro, WV. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McCullough Funeral Home (447 W Myles Ave, Pennsboro, WV 26415). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
