He was predeceased by: his parents, Waitman Davis and Viney Louise Hesson Davis; and his sister Linda Clark. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jean Seese Smith; his children, Rick Smith (Lisa) of Glendale and Cindy Morgan (Neal) of Pennsboro; his grandchildren, Michaela McKinney (Cole), Shelby Smith (Kyle Carpenter) and Kylar Morgan; and his siblings, Cathy Adkins of Branchland, WV and Waitman Davis, Jr. (Francis) of Huntington.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Raiguel Funeral Home (1200 E Main St, Harrisville, WV 26362). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
